Gibsons Bar & Steakhouse 5464 N River Rd, Rosemont 847-928-9900 www.gibsonssteakhouse.com I have been to Gibsons downtown on Rush 100 times of the the years and it is always lively and full of excitement and busy,  It had been a while since I visited the Rosemont restaurant and it worked out perfect to see Robin Williams at the Rosemont Theater a block away.  The place was a total madhouse and reminded me of Downtown on a busy Saturday night.  I am not a huge fan of the steaks but they are pretty good,  tonight we enjoyed one of my favorite appetizers which is the Avocado Crabmeat dish and we enjoyed a Wedge salad also.  As  I mentioned since there was a show and it was Saturday night the place was over flowing and they actually set up table in some spare rooms and everywhere they could put people.  They were about 30 minutes late seating us for our 6:30 but didn't mind so much since we were so close the show and they offer Valet parking for the show plus dinner parking for $16 bucks.  We had the King Crab that is always good and the creamed Spinach,  if we had more time we would have gotten some lobster or the Yummy chicken but didn't want to be stuffed.  As always Gibsons came through and even though I don't think they have the best steaks around, I do love the loud fun rich atmosphere.
