Couple weeks has passed since my last post so its going to be another one of those catch up posts. Wednesday night the 24th started with Yoga after work and then I headed over to Lindsay and we took a bike ride to around Diversey Harbor and had a picnic on the rocks that included wine and cheese and shrimp and hummus and fruit and we enjoyed the evening and almost caught the fireworks but the bugs got too bad. Thursday night was dinner somewhere that I cant remember. Friday the 26th we started the night with Dinner at Tank on Lincoln with Melissa and Ray followed by seeing Ash Avenue at Joe's on Weed Street for a fun night that ended up at The Boundry on division. I hate when i let this much time go between post since it is so hard to remember what everything that has happened. Saturday night I think we went to see The Proposal and Pizza at Pequod's on Clyborn and the movie was pretty good. Sunday was my second cousin Jennifer's graduation party in Arlington heights so I picked up my mom and then headed to the party at Vicki and Marty's house. Ok so Sunday night might have actually been Movie and Pequod's and I just cant remember what Saturday night was. Tueaday we headed out to Silver Lake in Mears Michigan to spend the week for the holiday, we had a great time even though the 1st couple days the weather was bad. We stayed up there till Monday after the 4th and did lots of boating and climbed the dunes and went miniature golfing and bumper boats and ate and drank way to much. The trip was fun and while I was gone Sol and Natalie and their friend Jeff were staying at my house while visiting Chicago. When I got back home Tuesday I was able to spend some time with them. We all went out for Dinner last night to David Burkes Prime House, the food was really good, steaks were good but not amazing and all the apps and desserts was great. I enjoyed hanging out with Sol and Natalie and Jeff again since they have a great appreciation for good food and wine. We actually had a few amazing bottles while they were here, I had a 91 Caymus that I had gotten as a gift and it was about as good of a bottle as I have ever had. After dinner we also went to the Violet Hour for them to experience the mixology bar that we have been enjoying. PJ met us there and we drank some really cool stuff till the lights came on and they kicked us out. Well thats about it for the last couple weeks and I hope to stay busy and catch up with more soon.
