Balthazar Restaurant 80 Spring St New York, 212-965-1414 http://www.balthazarny.com/ This is one of my favorite places and a must visit every time I am in NYC.  This is a classic French restaurant that makes me miss Paris and the food is really really amazing.  They have classic steak frites and so many cool things,  this visit was between Lunch and dinner so it was not a full menu but we ate a ton and everything was really good.  We had some king crab and french onion soup and steak and salad and a great dessert.  When I do make it for dinner I always get this incredible braised beef that is amazing and I cant wait to go back soon for more.
