West Town Tavern 1329 W Chicago Ave, Chicago 312-666-6175 www.westtowntavern.com West Town is a cool little local place that is surprisingly cool inside and feels like a mini downtown steak house.   The food is great and the service and people around are equally as cool.   I think this place is perfect for a last minute choice or entertaining guests or a date.  It is nice to have place with good contemporary comfort food place that is not a pain to get into and you don't have to get all dressed up if you are just looking for a nice meal at the end of the day.
