Blackbird Restaurant 619 W Randolph St, Chicago 312-715-0708 www.blackbirdrestaurant.com I feel like a cheerleader with so many great reviews but I guess I know how to pick em and I don't just end up at random places.  BlackBird is very very good and hits the mark on all aspects.  This place is the same people as Avec next door and both places are awesome.  The food and atmosphere at Blackbird is one of the best in the city and the menu and fascinating dishes put together by Chef Paul Kahan are simply perfect.
