Japonais Chicago 600 W Chicago Ave Chicago  312-822-9600 http://www.japonaischicago.com/ Always a good time with great food and great atmosphere,  from the great down stairs and cool river walk place to hang out and good martinis and good people Japonais is always a great place to dine.  I head here every couple months for either dinner with friends or dates or when someone is in town.
