Charlie Trotters 816 W Armitage Ave, Chicago 773-248-6228 www.charlietrotters.com Charlie Trotter's is incredible in every way and when I think about fine dining and amazing chefs, I always think about Trotter's.   We chose to do the Gand Menu and it is amazing in every way from the Salad of Pheasant to the slow roasted Salmon followed by Grilled Japanese Hamachi and the some incredible Venison Loin and a couple incredible desserts.  The wine list was the size of the Donnelly Yellow Pages and they had wines from all over the world with so many good French Reds I was in total wine snob heaven.   I could go on and on about Charlie Trotter's and I have to say its one of the best places I have ever been to and hard to top.  I hope to come back and sit in the kitchen one day for my Birthday or to celebrate something important.
